Student Leadership for Climate Action!
Climart Africa is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Kenya, dedicated to fostering student leadership in climate action. Through non-academic scholarships and leadership training, we empower students from low-income backgrounds to drive meaningful environmental change.

THE CLIMATE CRISIS
Despite contributing less than 4% to global greenhouse gas emissions, Africa faces severe climate change impacts, including rising temperatures, erratic rainfall, droughts, and floods, which threaten agriculture, water resources, infrastructure, and public health.
Youth Awareness Gap in Climate Action
No Integration of Climate Education in Kenya’s Curriculum
Lack of Climate Education in African Classrooms
Learning Gaps Delay Africa’s Environmental Response

CLIMART SCHOLARSHIPS
At Climart Africa, we believe that no child should be held back from becoming a climate leader because of financial challenges.
Here’s what the scholarship covers:
School & Exam Fees
We cover full school and examination fees, ensuring that talented students can remain in school without the constant worry of being sent home due to unpaid balances. We remove the stress of unpaid balances by covering:

Tuition & Transport
To remove daily obstacles, the scholarship supports tuition costs and transportation, allowing students to fully concentrate on their studies and climate projects without interruptions.

Tap to Eat School Feeding Program
Through our contribution to the Tap to Eat school feeding program, we guarantee that beneficiaries have access to daily nutritious meals. A well-fed student is healthier, more attentive, and better equipped to learn.

School Trips & Grade Projects
We provide funding for educational trips and grade-specific projects, giving students exposure beyond the classroom. These experiences broaden their perspectives and strengthen practical learning.

Uniforms (School & Games)
Every scholarship student receives a complete set of uniforms, including both regular and games kits. This promotes dignity, equality, and participation in both academic and extracurricular activities.

Learning Materials (Books & Stationery)
The scholarship includes textbooks, exercise books, and stationery, ensuring that learners have the essential tools to succeed academically.

Climate Project Grant (KES 30,000)
Each recipient receives a KES 30,000 climate project grant to design and implement a student-led environmental project. This ensures that beneficiaries not only learn but also take practical action, becoming champions of climate resilience in their communities.

SCHOLARSHIP HIGHLIGHTS
The Climart Scholarship is more than financial aid—it’s a life-changing opportunity that combines education, well-being, and climate leadership. Here’s what makes it unique:

Community Voices
At Climart Africa, our work speaks through the voices of those we serve and collaborate with. Here’s what they have to say:
